American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) hosted its prestigious Networking Evening (followed by Iftar) on Wednesday at the Sheraton Banani.
Lieutenant General (Retd.) Abdul Hafiz, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser (Defence and National Solidarity Development), was present at the function while it was attended by Megan Bouldin, Deputy Chief of Mission along with other senior officials from the U.S. Embassy Dhaka, said a press release.
The event also saw the participation of senior officials from various key government bodies, including Chief Advisor’s Office, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), and other key organizations.
AmCham President Syed Ershad Ahmed, Treasurer Mr. Al-Mamun M. Rashel, and Executive Committee Members, Mr. Rashed Mujib Noman, Mr. Md. Moinul Huq, Mr. Mirza Shajib Raihan, and Executive Director Mr. Chowdhury Kaiser Mohammad Riyadh, warmly welcomed the guests.
The event were featured with gathering of AmCham members, business leaders, chamber advocates and senior representatives from leading organizations, including distinguished partners of the Networking Evening: Abdul Monem Ltd., Avery Dennison Bangladesh, Chevron Bangladesh, Citibank, N.A., Conveyor Logistics Ltd., Corteva Agriscience Bangladesh, Excelerate Energy Bangladesh Ltd., FV Bangladesh, PepsiCo Bangladesh, Philip Morris Bangladesh Ltd., Transonic Communication Limited, and VFS Global Bangladesh Pvt. Ltd.
AmCham has served as a key platform for dialogue, bridging the U.S. business community and the Bangladeshi government for nearly 30 years.
This Networking Evening highlights the chamber’s commitment to fostering investment, innovation, and sustainable growth, reinforcing Bangladesh’s appeal as a top investment destination in South Asia.
The event will promote networking opportunities to strengthen U.S.-Bangladesh trade relations and explore collaborations for further business growth.
