Apex Footwear holds annual sales conference, honours top performers

Apex Footwear Limited on Tuesday held its Annual Sales Conference at the Samajik Convention Center in Ashulia, Dhaka, bringing together around 1,500 employees from across the country for a day-long programme.

The conference opened with a tribute to the company's late Founder Chairman, Syed Manzur Elahi, who passed away on March 12, 2025.

Speakers at the event recalled his role in shaping Apex over more than three decades, highlighting his contributions to the growth of Bangladesh's leather and footwear industry.

The event was held under the leadership of the newly appointed Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Golam Mainuddin, who was unanimously elected on April 23, 2025.

The programme focused on reinforcing Apex's core values and recognising sales associates who met their 2025 targets, reflecting the company's performance-driven approach.

Senior management members attended the event, including Managing Director Syed Nasim Manzur, Chief Operating Officer Firoze Mohammad, and Chief Financial Officer Dilip Kajuri.

A key segment of the conference was the Performance Awards ceremony, where top achievers from across the sales network were honoured for their contributions. A raffle draw was also organised, offering prizes to participating employees.

Apex Footwear said the conference aimed to strengthen unity among employees nationwide, while celebrating achievements.

With a legacy of more than 30 years in leather craftsmanship, the company reaffirmed its commitment to quality footwear production and building a strong and motivated workforce.
