Bangladesh, India to jointly hold International Trade Summit in Dhaka on May 14-15

Bangladesh and India are jointly organising the International Trade Summit in Dhaka city next month.

The two-day trade summit will take place at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, according to a press release.

Approximately 500 delegates from over 25 countries worldwide will join the event. The 4th International Trade Summit on start on May 14 and end on May 15.

According to the press release, the conference will be organised by world famous BigMint in collaboration with both nations, and Ahmed Enterprise, Bangladesh, will act as the host of the conference.

This year the theme of the summit is “Sustainable Future”.

Key people from steel, cement, power, and ship recycling sectors will be present in the event.

Industry Minister Nurul Mojid Mahmud Humayun is slated to inaugurate the conference as the chief guest on the noon of May 14.

Presidents from leading associations in the steel, cement, power, and ship recycling sectors will attend as special guests.

Prominent industrialists and ship breakers will also converge to discuss pivotal topics shaping the economic landscape.

Key discussion topics in the International Trade Summit will be Bangladesh’s Macro Economic Outlook, International Availability of Steel Raw Materials, Potential of Green Ship Recycling, Cement Raw Material Procurement, Renewable Energy and Regional Power Cooperation.
