The Ministry of Commerce on Thursday removed the ban on the export of face masks and hand sanitisers.
A notice in this regard was issued from the office of the Chief Controller of Import and Export under the ministry, reports UNB quoting a government handout.
Earlier on March 12, the commerce ministry imposed a ban on the export of the two items as part of precautionary measures amid the growing domestic demand for the items due to global coronavirus outbreak.
