Bangladesh Semiconductor Industry Association announces newly elected Executive Council for 2024-2027 period

The Bangladesh Semiconductor Industry Association (BSIA) has announced the election results for its first-ever Executive Council.

The election, held for the term 2024-2027, follows the formation of a Convening Committee led by Mr. M. A. Jabbar, Managing Director of Neural Semiconductor Limited & DBL Group, according to a press release. 

Mr. M. A. Jabbar has been elected as the President of the BSIA, bringing with him a wealth of leadership experience from his prominent role in Neural Semiconductor Limited and DBL Group.

His vision and drive are expected to play a pivotal role in advancing Bangladesh's growing semiconductor industry and aligning it with global technological trends.

Elected as Senior Vice President, Mr. Mahbube Elahi Chowdhury, Managing Director of Mars Solutions Limited, will support the association’s efforts with his extensive experience in technological solutions and business management.

His leadership is set to contribute to the development of a sustainable semiconductor industry in Bangladesh, the release says. 

The other elected members of the Executive Council for the 2024-2027 term are as follows: Vice President (Admin), Dr. Mizanur Mohammed Rahman, Chief Executive Officer, Teton Private Limited, Vice President (Finance), Mr. Mojahedul Hoque Abul Hasanat, Chief Technology Officer, Dynamic Solution Innovators, and Directors, Ms. Aliya Shafquat, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Tahoe Private Limited, Mr. Mohammed Alam, Chief Executive Officer, Metro Scientific Limited, Mr. Munir Ahmed, Director, iTest Bangladesh Limited, Mr. Kamrul Ahsan Dewanjee, Managing Director, BALU Technologies Limited, &Mr. Ashiqur Rahman Tanim, Chief Executive Officer, THiNK Global Limited.

With its newly elected leadership, the BSIA is poised to foster innovation, growth, and collaboration within the semiconductor industry, contributing to the nation’s technological advancements and positioning Bangladesh as a competitive player in the global market, the release adds.
