Bangladesh Tea Association election held

Election of the Bangladeshiyo Cha Sangsad (BCS) -- Bangladesh Tea Association (BTA), which is the representative organisation of the owners of tea gardens in Bangladesh, was held at its office in Dhaka recently.

Mr Kamran T Rahman, Mr Salek Ahmed Abul Masrur and Ms Nihad Kabir were elected as chairman, senior vice-chairman, vice-chairman respectively for 2023-24 and 2024-25.

The following persons were also elected as members of the central executive committee for the same terms: Mr M Wahidul Haque, Mr Mirza Salman Ispahani, Mr Mohd Safwan Choudhury, Mr Ardashir Kabir, Mr Imran Ahmed, Mr Mohammad Musa, Mr Tahsin Ahmed Choudhury, Mr Saifur Rahman, Mr Md Mustafizur Rahman, Mr Manzoor Elahi, Mr Syed Mahmood Hasan and Mr Kazi Istiaq Ahamed, says a press release.
