A Bangladeshi startup has been selected for the final stage of Startup Istanbul Acceleration Programme to be held today (Tuesday).
A jury board comprising experts from Europe, the Americas and the Middle East selected Dataful, the first data journalism initiative in Bangladesh, as the second-top startup on the final list.
Polash Datta, the project lead of Dataful, shared this news in details in a Facebook status in the early hours of Tuesday, seeking cooperation from all.
Dataful plans to develop web and mobile apps based on open data, easing people's access to information about services for all sectors.
Alongside Dataful, eight other startups will compete in the final stage of the Startup Istanbul Acceleration Programme.
Startup Istanbul received a 160,916 applications from 166 countries this year. Of them, five, including Dataful’s, were from Bangladesh.
