Bank Asia holds 26th AGM virtually

The 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Bank Asia PLC was held virtually on 17th June 2025. Mr. Romo Rouf Chowdhury, Chairman of the bank, presided over the meeting.

Shareholders of Bank Asia approved 20% dividend (10% cash and 10% stock) for the year 2024 at the AGM, according to a press release.

Ms. Zakia Rouf Chowdhury, Vice Chairman, Mr. Rumee A Hossain, Chairman of the Board Executive Committee, Mr. M. A. Baqui Khalily, Chairman of the Board Audit Committee and Board Risk Management Committee, Ms. Romana Rouf Chowdhury, Ms. Farhana Haq, Mr. Md. Abul Quasem, Mr. Nafees Khundker, Mr. Sabeth Nayeem Choudhury and Ms. Farzana Khan, Directors of the bank, Mr. Sohail R K Hussain, Managing Director, Mr. Zahid Hasan, Company Secretary (Acting) along with other senior officials and a large number of shareholders joined the AGM.

The shareholders expressed their satisfaction with the overall performance of the bank and approved the accounts for the year 2024.
