State-owned BASIC Bank limited on Tuesday paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreath at his portrait at Dhanmondi Road No. 32 on the occasion of his 48th martyrdom anniversary and the National Mourning Day.
Dr. Md. Abdul Khaleque Khan (freedom fighter) and Md. M. Latif Bhuiyan, directors, Md. Abu Md. Mofazzal, deputy managing director, general managers, senior executives, and employees of the bank were present in the program, says a press release.
Besides, BASIC Bank’s Tungipara Branch in Gopalgonj paid homage at the graveyard memorial of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara, Gopalgonj on the same day.
