The Bangladesh Bank has advertised over 3,000 jobs in six state-run banks and one financial institution.
In a circular published on its website on Tuesday, it calls for applications to 3,463 posts of officers (general).
Sonali Bank Ltd will recruit 363, Janata Bank Ltd 190, Rupali Bank Ltd 699, Bangladesh Development Bank Ltd 18, Bangladesh Krishi Bank 1,722 and Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank will recruit 455.
The Investment Corporation of Bangladesh will hire 16 general officers.
Authorities may change the number of vacancies, according to the circular. The deadline for application is September 22.
The age limit for general candidates is 30 but for children of freedom fighters and those with physical or mental disabilities it is 32.
Those who turned 30 before August 1, 2017 are eligible to apply.
Last week the central bank published circular for recruiting senior officers (general) to these banks, declaring 1,663 vacancies, according to bdnews24.com.
