The 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Bangladesh Development Bank Limited (BDBL) was held on Tuesday at BDBL Bhaban in the city.
Chairman of the BDBL Board of Directors and Former Senior Secretary Mohammad Mejbahuddin presided over the meeting.
Arijit Chowdury, Additional Secretary, Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance attended as government representative.
Directors Md. Ekhlasur Rahman, Md. Abu Hanif Khan, Salma Nasreen ndc, Kazi Tariqul Islam, Md. Abu Yusuf, Suvash Chandar Sarker and Deputy Managing Director (Managing Director Addl. charge) Md. Abdul Matin also attended the AGM.
BDBL earned an amount of Tk 74.89 crore net profit after tax in the year 2018. The Bank disbursed Tk 556.65 crore as loan and recovered Tk 546.66 crore in the year in 2018.
