Bengal Commercial Bank (BGCB) organised ‘Micro Credit Conclave 2025’ with the bank’s strong commitment to empowering marginalised people of the country.
The conclave was held on Wednesday, 25 June 2025, with the participation of the Bank’s Micro Credit team at the BGCB Training Centre at Dilkusha, Dhaka, according to a press release.
Tarik Morshed, managing director and CEO of the bank, attended the programme.
He emphasised the importance of microcredit finance in creating entrepreneurs as well as commitment to the responsibility of sustainable economic development at all levels of society.
K. M. Awlad Hossain, additional managing director and CBO, presided over the conclave. He suggested increasing communications and engagement with the field-level clients for the sustainable development of this sector.
Dr Md Rafiqul Islam, deputy managing director and CTO; Md Masud Rana, Head of Micro Credit Business; Md Anisur Rahman, Head of Micro Credit CRM; and Nazia Khanom Kona, In-Charge of Brand & Communications, were also present at the conclave.
