Bengal Commercial Bank PLC has stepped into the fifth year of its journey with zero non-performing loans (NPL).
According to a press release, a celebration ceremony was organised marking the occasion on Tuesday at the head office of the bank in the Gulshan area of Dhaka.
As an MSME-oriented bank, it has already opened 32 branches across the country in a short period of time. Four dedicated Islami Banking branches are providing Shariah-based banking services. The bank is moving forward with ensuring an A+ credit rating index and modern online banking services.
Md. Jashim Uddin, Chairman of the bank and President of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), extended his sincere greetings and gratitude to all the clients and well-wishers for standing by the bank on this path of prosperity.
Tarik Morshed, the managing director and CEO of the bank, expressed his commitment to maintaining the trust, confidence, and reliance of the clients in the future as well.
K. M. Awlad Hossain, the additional managing director, attended the programme along with deputy managing directors and other high officials of the bank.
On the occasion of the anniversary, the bank organised Iftar Mahfil for the clients, patrons, and well-wishers at the branches with festive mode.
