Bengal Islami Life Insurance celebrates the milestone of achieving BDT 100 crore in premium collection

Bengal Islami Life Insurance Limited has achieved the historic milestone of collecting BDT 100 crore in premiums in 2025.

To mark this achievement, a colorful celebration ceremony was held on Saturday (18 January 2026) at the TCB Auditorium in Karwan Bazar, Dhaka, presided over by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, M. M. Monirul Alam, according to a media release.

The chief guest at the event was the company’s Chief Patron, Md. Jasim Uddin, President of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).

In his address, he stated, “This achievement is not merely a number; it is a reflection of trust, ethics, and sustainable business practices.”

He commended the management for the company’s consistent progress and its contribution to the Islamic life insurance sector.

Special guests at the program included the company’s Chairman, Mostafa Azad Chowdhury; Vice Chairman, Md. Amin Helaly; members of the Board of Directors; and shareholders. In addition, heads of various organizations and Project Heads of the company, more than 300 development officers and employees from different parts of the country, and officials and staff from various levels of the Head Office joined the celebration.

In his speech, the Chairman said, “Behind this success of BDT 100 crore lies the trust of our customers, the sweat and hard work of our field-level employees, and the relentless efforts of a united team.” He also expressed the commitment to continue moving forward by upholding transparency, humanity, and Shariah principles in the future.

In his remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of Bengal Islami Life Insurance Limited expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders associated with this achievement—particularly IDRA, the Board of Directors, the Shariah Supervisory Board, development officers, and the management team—and described this milestone as a reflection of collective dedication, perseverance, and focused effort.
