Bengal Islami Life Insurance hands over cheque of Tk 1.1 million to South Asia Insurance for death claim under Group Takaful

Bengal Islami Life Insurance Limited has handed over a check of BDT. 11,00,000 (Eleven Lac) only to South Asia Insurance Co. Ltd. as death benefit following the death of its Additional Managing Director, late Md. Emdadul Haque.
The cheque was given under the Group Takaful agreement between the two organizations in a simple ceremony at the Head Office of South Asia Insurance Company Limited, Green City Edge (14th Floor), 89, Kakrail C/A, Dhaka-1000.
Earlier to the death claim, Bengal Islami Life had given BDT.3,27,000 (Three Lac Twenty Seven Thousand) only to Md. Emdadul Haque as hospitalization benefit for his treatment, according to a press release.
The Senior Management from both companies were present in the occasion.
On behalf of South Asia Insurance Company Limited Mohammad Nurul Alam Chowdhury, CEO received the cheque from M M Monirul Alam, CEO, Bengal Islami Life Insurance Limited.
In the event, on behalf of Bengal Islami Life Insurance Ltd Md. Awlad Hossain, Additional Managing Director, Md. Humayun Kobir, Additional Managing Director, Mohammed Alamgir Kabir, Chief Operating Officer, Md. Mazharul Islam Rana, Head of Corporate Business and Md. Anisur Rahman Sumon, Head of Claims were present.
On behalf of South Asia Insurance, Mohammad Bakir Murshid, Additional Managing Director, Operation & Head of BCD, Md. Anwar Hossain, Assistant Managing Director & CFO, Mr. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman, Deputy Vice President (Head of Re-Insurance & Claim), and Branch Managers from the Dhaka Region were present.
