Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) has asked all its member factories to shut down operations until further notice. The decision comes in response to the ongoing unrest in the country, with the safety of workers and employees as the primary concern.
BGMEA Vice President Abdullah Hil Rakib Rakib confirmed this through a text message.
