National carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines becomes the Airline Partner of the Dhaka Travel Mart (DTM) 2025, the 20th edition of the international tourism fair in Dhaka.
The 3-day fair, organized by The Bangladesh Monitor, a premier travel and tourism publication, will be held from February 6-8, 2025 at the Ball Room of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka, according to a media release.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two organizations at the Biman’s head office, Balaka, in Dhaka yesterday.
Mohammad Shamsul Karim, General Manages- Sales, Biman Bangladesh Airlines and Dr. Farhad Kamal, Managing Editor, The Bangladesh Monitor signed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides. Sk. Mostafizur Rahman, DGM-Sales, MD. Golam Mostafa, Manager Revenue Management from Biman were present among others on the occasion.
Under the MoU, Biman will extend all out support to The Bangladesh Monitor in organizing and promoting the Dhaka Travel Mart 2025 at home and abroad.
Biman will also offer a 15 per cent discount on airfare for travel from Bangladesh to ten international destinations, including Toronto, Rome, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Narita, Bangkok, Singapore, Delhi, Kathmandu, and Kolkata.
This year, more than 50 public and private organizations from 8 countries, including host Bangladesh, national tourism organizations, airlines, tour operators, hotels and resorts, travel agencies, financial institutions will showcase their products and services during the fair. Most of the participants will announce special offers for the visitors.
Biman boasts of a modern fleet of 21 aircraft. The national carrier operates to 23 international and 7 domestic destinations, the release adds.
