BRAC Bank has organised the Agent Meet 2025 for the Dhaka Region to strengthen field-level engagement and accelerate financial inclusion, according to a press release.
The Agent Meet took place in Cox’s Bazar on October 10, 2025, bringing together esteemed agent partners from 116 Agent Banking Outlets in the Dhaka, Narayanganj and Gazipur region of BRAC Bank. As part of BRAC Bank’s continuous efforts to drive financial inclusion, the Agent Meet served as a unique platform for agents and bank officials to connect directly.
The event featured key BRAC Bank senior officials, including Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director and CEO; Syed Abdul Momen, Additional Managing Director and Head of SME Banking; M. Masud Rana FCA, Additional Managing Director & CFO; Md. Sabbir Hossain, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer; Nazmul Rahim, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Alternate Banking Channels; and Md Nazmul Hasan, Head of Agent Banking. Their collective presence underscored the gathering's significance and impact.
The day-long event centred on exchanging ideas, sharing operational updates, aligning future objectives, and tackling challenges faced at the field level. BRAC Bank officials provided valuable insights and encouragement, motivating agents to enhance access to financial services for underserved communities.
A special segment of the event was dedicated to recognising and awarding top-performing agents in the Diamond categories. This accolade represents not only an individual achievement for the agents but also reflects the collective success and capability of the agent banking channel.
