BRAC Bank inaugurates two new sub-branches in Shariatpur

BRAC Bank has officially inaugurated two new sub-branches in Shariatpur District, bringing the total number of sub-branches in the bank's network to 107, according to a press release.

The sub-branches were inaugurated on October 23, 2025, by Md. Muniruzzaman Molla, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Operations, marking a significant milestone for the bank. One sub-branch is located in Sakhipur Union of Naria Upazila, and the other in Vojeshwar Union of Bhedarganj Upazila.

Notable attendees at the inauguration included A. K. M. Tareq, Senior Zonal Head for North; Borhan Uddin, Head of Sub-branches; Nakib Zaman, Regional Head; along with other senior officials from the bank's Distribution Network.

The introduction of these sub-branches will enable both businesses and individual customers to conveniently access smart banking services. BRAC Bank’s Sub-branch Network is part of its multi-channel distribution strategy, aimed at providing the best banking services to customers nationwide.

These new sub-branches will offer a comprehensive range of modern banking services, including account opening, cash deposits and withdrawals, deposit pension schemes, fund transfers via EFTN and RTGS, remittance services, utility bill payments, credit card services, student file management, consumer loans, debit cards, chequebook processing, Astha App enrollment, school banking, savings instruments, and more, excluding foreign exchange services.

BRAC Bank's extensive network now includes 298 branches and sub-branches, 330 ATMs, 446 SME Unit Offices, and 1,119 Agent Banking Outlets, making it one of the largest banking networks in Bangladesh.
