BRAC Bank has signed a payment gateway agreement with Foodi Express Limited facilitating a seamless payment facility for customers of the food delivery platform in Bangladesh.
Md Mahiul Islam, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking, BRAC Bank, and Shahnewas Mannan, COO, Foodi Express Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at BRAC Bank Head Office in Dhaka on July 15, 2024, according to a press release.
Under the agreement, Foodi will be able to accept payments for online food delivery using VISA, MasterCard, and bash through its official website (foodibd.com) and mobile app.
The arrangement also enables Foodi to initiate refund and cancellation requests of online food purchased through VISA, MasterCard, bKash with faster processing time.
Leveraging the state-of-the-art Online Merchant Service Portal equipped with smart payment capabilities, BRAC Bank will extend the best-in-class services to valued customers of Foodi, offering many cashless payment options.
From BRAC Bank, Khairuddin Ahmed, Head of Merchant Acquiring, Md Ashraful Alam, Head of Alliances, Raihanul Kabir, Senior Manager, E-Commerce Merchant Acquiring, were present at the event.
From Foodi, Mashrur Hasan Mim, Chief Marketing Officer, Syed Sajibur Rahman, Category Head of Sales, were also present along with other senior officials of both organisations, the release adds.
