Brand watch market of Bangladesh

That's why good branded watches are always worth more to the buyers.

In Bangladesh, many famous brands are now available in the country's watch market. Especially in Dhaka, now anyone can visit the showroom and buy a good branded watch. But even a few years ago, the picture of Dhaka's branded watch market was different. Good branded watches were not so readily available in the country till the 90s. Although some original branded watches used to come through the luggage party, but the quantity was very small.

Also, at that time, some dealers used to sell replicas saying as originals to earn extra profit. At that time, the trend of wearing branded watches was not the same as it is now. There was a large segment of Bangladeshi buyers who were probably more interested in buying ‘look alike’ or replica watches at a lower price rather than spending a lot of money on a good branded watch. Besides, the imported original brand watches were subjected to heavy duty, as a result the price of the watch used to go up so much that, It was beyond the reach of the common buyer.
