Building Technology and Ideas Limited (BTI), a leading real estate company in Bangladesh, has celebrated its 40th founding anniversary.
The company has organised a two-day-long event, ‘Sporty at 40’, recently to mark the occasion. The programmes were held on Friday and Saturday at the celebration point of the company, according to a press release.
BTI Managing Director FR Khan, other top officials, and distinguished personalities joined the event.
The event comprised many segments, including panel discussion, knowledge session, and art workshop. Besides, 11 new projects situated in the different locations in the country were launched during the programme.
Several banks and non-bank financial institutions were also present at the event with their home loan products.
Eminent economist Dr Ahsan H Mansur and renowned journalist Golam Mortoza participated in the panel discussion titled ‘Investment Opportunities in The Upcoming Inflation’ which was moderated by the BTI MD FR Khan.
The discussants highlighted the adverse impact of Covid-19 pandemic and Russia-Ukraine war on economy.
On the first day, an art workshop was also arranged for the children under the mentorship of Artist Bishwajit Goswami, Assistant Professor of Drawing and Painting Department, University of Dhaka.
On the second day, a panel discussion titled ‘Income Tax Implications’ was also held at the event. Former member of National Board of Revenue Kazi Delwar Hossain joined the event, among others.
The panel discussion included dialogues on taxes from the real estate sector’s aspect and speakers highlighted on the category of taxes real customers are supposed to pay.
Dr. Mehtab Khanam, Psychology Department Professor of Dhaka University, conducted at a knowledge session on ‘Good Parenting’.
She discussed on purpose of parenting and coping strategies to develop resilience and productivity among children.
The press release said a large number of audiences including the well-wishers, customers and stakeholders gathered to share their feelings on BTI’S 40th founding anniversary.
