BTI Home Fest '23 showcases smart homes for comfortable living

Building Technology and Ideas Limited (BTI), a leading real estate developer in Bangladesh, recently organised 'bti Home Fest '23'.

With the slogan 'Live Smart, Live Better', the event aimed at promoting smart homes to ensure a comfortable living experience.

According to a press release, the programme, held at bti Celebration Point, witnessed a large number of visitors.

BTI's luxury project 'Amabilia', located in Mohakhali, was launched today (August 5, 2023) in the presence of BTI's Managing Director F R Khan and CEO Nalaka Hettiarachchi.

During this grand event, BTI showcased over 300 apartments in different locations of Dhaka and Chattograms to the clients.

Eminent and internationally acclaimed architects of our country, Ar. Rafiq Azam and popular architect Ar. Nazli Hussain, participated in the panel discussion titled 'Purchasing Sustainable, Smart Homes: Is Price a Factor?'. The discussants highlighted the impact of price on purchasing decisions for sustainable and smart homes. They also shared their views on the factors responsible for the increasing prices of real estate products.

Another panel discussion titled 'Overcoming the Challenges of Property Development' was conducted by Town Planner of RAJUK and Project Director of DAP, Md. Ashraful Islam, along with high officials of BTI. A prospective landowner shared the challenges of property development that landowners usually face, and F R Khan and Md. Ashraful Islam provided insightful and constructive solutions to the queries.

BTI's Senior Executive Director of Operational Development, Shamsul Amin, discussed the Real Estate Development and Management Act, 2010, and other regulatory matters concerning the interests of landowners and real estate companies. Mr Islam, Town Planner of RAJUK, also shared his views on the role of policy-level frameworks in narrowing the gap between landowners and real estate companies.
