The limit imposed by Bangladesh Bank (BB) on cash withdrawals at banks has been removed, allowing customers to withdraw any amount of cash from their accounts.
Central Bank Spokesperson and Executive Director Majbaul Haque announced this change on Saturday, September 7.
In a statement, Haque confirmed that the restriction on cash withdrawals will no longer be in effect as of Sunday (September 8). Customers can now withdraw any amount from their accounts without limitations.
This restriction was previously implemented for several weeks following a change in the country's leadership.
