Citizens Bank observes International Women’s Day 2026

Citizens Bank PLC observed International Women’s Day 2026 in line with the theme, ‘Today’s Action, Tomorrow’s Justice: Protect the Rights of Women and Girls’, according to a press release.

Mr. Alamgir Hossain, Managing Director of Citizens Bank PLC, inaugurated the program at the Bank’s Head Office. In his speech, he highlighted the indispensable role of women in society, acknowledging their dedication, creativity, leadership and valuable contributions across all sectors.

He reaffirmed the Bank’s strong commitment to promoting gender equality by fostering a fair and inclusive workplace, encouraging leadership among women and standing united against all forms of discrimination and bias. He also emphasized that when women thrive, organizations flourish and society progresses as a whole.

 Among others, Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman and Mr. Md. Abdul Latif, along with the heads of different divisions and female colleagues of the Bank, were present at the program.
