Citizens Bank signs agreement with ZNRF University

Citizens Bank PLC signed an agreement with ZNRF University of Management Sciences (ZUMS) for sponsoring the Youth Acceleration Program (YAP) on ZNRF University at Badda, Dhaka, recently.

Mr. Md. Abdul Latif, Deputy Managing Director of Citizens Bank PLC and Professor Mohammad Mohiuddin, Pro-Vice Chancellor, ZNRF University of Management Sciences, signed the deed of agreement on behalf of the respective organisations in the presence of Mr. Alamgir Hossain, Managing Director, Citizens Bank PLC and Ms. Nargis Rafiqa Rahman, Vice Chairman, Board of Trustee, ZNRF University of Management Sciences.

Mr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director, Citizens Bank, Dr. Mohammad Ali, Registrar, ZUMS, High officials of the both organisations and a good number of students of the University were also present on the occasion.

As per the agreement, Citizens Bank will facilitate ZUMS to arrange Youth Acceleration Program (YAP) by reaching out the students of colleges/Institutions across Dhaka division to promote and develop the knowledge in science, technology, entrepreneurship, innovation, digital literacy, sustainability, leadership, etc. through a diverse range of activities such as seminars, workshops, competitions, and project showcase.

Youth Acceleration Program (YAP) will help students acquire practical skills, gain national recognition and build a culture of innovation.

Through this initiative, Bangladesh will have a new generation of problem solvers, innovators and entrepreneurs, who will play an important role in the sustainable development and digital advancement of the country.
