City Bank signs agreement with HSBC to extend employee banking

City Bank joined hands with Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) Limited, Bangladesh, in a signing ceremony that marks the beginning of an exciting partnership.

The ceremony took place recently at the Head Office of City Bank. This collaboration brings together the expertise, resources and innovative spirit of both organisations. Under this agreement, City Bank will provide Employee Banking services to HSBC Bank.

The ceremony was attended by key representatives from both organisations. In the presence of Hossain Khaled, Chairmen of City Bank, Mashrur Arefin, Managing Director & CEO of the bank and Md. Mahbub ur Rahman, CEO of HSBC signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisation. Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, Additional Managing Director & Chief Financial Officer, Md. Ashanur Rahman, Chief Economist & Country Business Manager, Md. Arup Haider, DMD &Head of Retail Banking, Hasan Uddin Ahmed Head of Employee Banking from City Bank PLC along with the other senior officials of both organisations, also attended the program.
