CHITTOGRAM, Jan 29:Chittagong Independent University (CIU) launched Confucius Chinese Language Site at the campus today Thursday.
North South University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury inaugurated the Confucius Chinese Language Site as chief guest. He officially announced the inauguration of the Confucius Institute's Chinese Language Teaching Site at CIU.
Mr. Li Shaopeng, Cultural Counselor of the Chinese Embassy, and Mr. Zhang Wensheng, Managing Director of New Era Fashions (BD) Limited and Vice President of the Chinese Enterprise Association in Bangladesh, were present as special guests at the event.
Acting Director of Confucius Chinese Language Site Dr. Kazi Md. Saiful Aspia delivered welcome speech while Miss Ma Xiaoyan, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute at North South University, and Director Professor Dr. Bulbul Siddiqui also delivered speeches among others.
