Community Bank, Sandhani Life Insurance sign bancassurance agreement

Community Bank Bangladesh PLC and Sandhani Life Insurance Company Ltd have signed a Bancassurance agreement aimed at providing integrated insurance services to customers across the country.

According to a press release, through this partnership, insurance products of Sandhani Life Insurance will be made available to customers through the distribution network of Community Bank.

The agreement was signed at the head office of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC Mr. Kimiwa Saddat, Managing Director (Current Charge) of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC and Mr.Nemai Kumar Saha, Chief Executive Officer of Sandhani Life Insurance Company Ltd. signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Under the Bancassurance arrangement, the collaboration is expected to contribute to increasing insurance awareness, mitigating financial risks, and supporting sustainable economic development in Bangladesh.

Senior officials from both organizations were present at the signing ceremony. From Sandhani Asset Management Limited, Mir Ariful Islam, Managing Director and CEO, attended the event. Representatives from Sandhani Life Insurance Company Ltd included Md Mahbubur Rahman, Chief Finance Officer (CC); Md Mizanur Rahman, Company Secretary; and Abdullah Al Mamun, Assistant Vice President, Bancassurance Section.

From Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, Mohammad Khairul Alam, Head of ICC Division; Shamsul Haque Sufyani, Chief Operating Officer; and Dr. Md.Ariful Islam, Head of Corporate Banking and Head of Business (Branch), were also present at the ceremony.
