Community Bank signs deal with Bangladesh Bank for GTF

Community Bank Bangladesh Limited signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank for Green Transformation Fund (GTF) under refinance scheme of Tk 50.0 billion, according to a press release.

The scheme was initiated for facilitating access to financing for all exporters and manufacturers for buying capital machinery and accessories relevant to environmental-friendly and green attributes specified by Bangladesh Bank.

Mr. Chowdhury Liakot Ali, Director (SFD) of the Sustainable Finance Department of Bangladesh Bank; and Mr. Masihul Huq Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of Community Bank; signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

Bangladesh Bank Governor Mr. Abdur Rauf Talukder was present at the signing ceremony of the participation agreement for the Green Transformation Fund as the chief guest.
