CRISL named best credit rating company of Bangladesh

Credit Rating Information and Services Limited (CRISL) has been adjudged the best credit rating company of Bangladesh and given the ‘The Asset's Triple A Award’ by the renowned international financial journal and research publication 'The Asset Limited' recently, says a media statement Wednesday.

This is the fifth time that CRISL has obtained such recognition from the same organisation.

The Asset's Triple A award represents Asia's most prestigious awards for banking, finance, treasury, trade, capital market and rating agencies who have excelled in their respective fields over a considerable period of time.

Established in 1995, CRISL is the pioneer in establishing credit rating practices in Bangladesh and has rated more than 70,000 entities and exposures so far, covering the entire financial sector, including banks, non-bank financial institutions, insurance companies, corporate houses, bonds, real estate, SMEs etc.

CRISL is the only ISO (ISO 9001:2015) certified company in the country. It also obtained the Bangladesh Best Brand Award from CMO Asia in 2019.
