DCCI Business Institute bags ‘Best Training Support Institution-2018’ award

The business institute of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) abbreviated as DBI won the “Best Training Support Institution Award 2018” from the International Trade Centre (ITC) UNCTAD/WTO Geneva at its Global Network Round Table 2018 held recently in Beijing.

The DBI got the award for brilliant success in conducting six-month long supply chain management course titled Modular Learning System in Supply Chain Management (MLS-SCM(P) programme, said a DCCI press release.

The release said the DBI clinched the 1st place in the Best Training Support Institution category out of 190 institutions from 60 countries.

The award was given considering five major criteria like consistent performance, growth, innovation, number of training courses and impact stories.

Since 2004, around 1,000 participants were given training on this MLS-SCM (P) course from DBI. DBI has also got the same accolade back in 2011.

Besides, DBI has got another accolade at the same event which is the “Best Trainer of the Year Award 2018” from ITC on the basis of outstanding participant evaluations and innovative in training delivery.

The best trainer of DBI Shankar Kumar Roy received the award. DBI conducts various need-based short and medium term courses round the year for the professionals, entrepreneurs, business executives and job seekers to upgrade their knowledge and skills, BSS reported.

It also conducts courses on Marketing Management, Human Resources and Financial Management.
