Dhaka Bank donates bus, coaster to Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College under CSR programme

Dhaka Bank has donated a bus and a coaster to Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College, Bogura under the Corporate Social Responsibility of the bank, according to a press release.

Mr. Abdul Hai Sarker, Chairman, formally handed over the keys to Professor Dr. Md. Wadudul Hoque Tarafder, Principal of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College, on January 13, 2025.

Mr. A T M Hayatuzzaman Khan, Founder Vice Chairman, Mr. Altaf Hossain Sarker, Former Director and Mr. A K M Shahnawaj, Additional Managing Director of Dhaka Bank PLC. Md. Mostaque Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director (CEMO), Mr. Abul Hasnat, EVP & Regional Manager of Rajshahi, Mr. Syed Ghulam Dastagir, SVP & Head of Communications & Branding Division, along with Branch Managers of Rajshahi Zone were also present on this occasion.

The donated vehicles will facilitate the transportation needs of students, doctors, faculty members and staff of the medical college, thereby contributing to smoother academic and clinical operations. This support is expected to enhance mobility, ensure timely access to healthcare services, and improve overall efficiency within the institution.
