Dhaka Bank observes its 29th anniversary

Dhaka Bank PLC has observed 29 years of banking excellence in a modest manner with the slogan, “Maintaining Steady Growth with Excellence “.

On the signature occasion, a Dua Mahfil was arranged for the improvement of the bank, growth of the bank, better contribution to the economy and a prayer was prayed for the good health of the shareholders, bank employees, and directors at the bank’s head office in Gulshan, Dhaka, according to a media release. 

A cake-cutting ceremony was also arranged.

Mr Abdul Hai Sarker, Chairman, Founder of the bank Mr Mirza Abbas Uddin Ahmed, Founder Vice Chairman Mr A T M Hayatuzzaman Khan, Present Vice Chairman Mr Mohammad Hanif, Directors Messrs Altaf Hossain Sarker, Md Amirullah, Rakhi Das Gupta, Independent Directors Messers Feroze Ahmed, Ahbab Ahmed were present on the occasion.

Apart from them, Mr Emranul Huq, Managing Director and CEO and managers of different zones or divisions were present on the virtual platform.

Mr AKM Shahnawaj along with senior management from the head office and managers from the flagship branches, were present in that occasion.

Besides, 147 branches, subbranches, and SME Service Centres celebrated this occasion individually by cutting cakes on their premises, the release adds.
