Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort is proud to announce 'The Local Culinary Heritage of Bangladesh 2023,' a food festival that celebrates the rich and diverse flavours of Bangladeshi cuisine.
Scheduled to take place from 5-30 October, this culinary festival will offer guests an opportunity to enjoy local delicacies from all corners of Bangladesh, said a press release.
Kabir Reza, managing director of Dhaka Regency, and Shahid Hamid FIH, executive director of the hotel, will inaugurate the festival on the evening of 5th October.
Mr Hamid expressed the festival's core objective, stating, "As the most popular Bangladeshi hotel brand, Dhaka Regency is always inspired to promote and introduce Bangladeshi local and traditional cuisine, using authentic spices, to both our local and foreign guests."
Food enthusiasts can look forward to indulging in an array of local dishes, including biriyani cooked inside bamboo stalks, choijhal gosht, shatkora chicken, koi paturi, and an assortment of vegetarian options such as dal with drumstick shoots, bamboo shoot curry, laukhatta, shabji labra, and traditional cakes for dessert.
Guests can relish these culinary delights accompanied by live instrumental music, available every day between 18:30-22:30 at the hotel's dining outlet, Grandiose Restaurant, for Tk 4,999 per person.
As the most popular Bangladeshi brand hotel, Dhaka Regency Premier Club members will receive exclusive privileges during the event.
