Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) has launched a new Visa Virtual Prepaid Card portfolio, bringing customers a fully digital and eco-friendly payment solution at its head office in Dhaka today.
The cards are available in two variants- EBL Daraz Co-Brand Visa Virtual Prepaid Card and EBL Visa Lifestyle Virtual Prepaid Card, according to a media release.
Concerned bank officials said this initiative reflects EBL’s continued commitment to innovation and digital transformation in the banking industry.
The EBL Virtual Prepaid Card allows customers to open and issue their card entirely online through the Skybanking app without needing a previous relationship with the bank.
This seamless onboarding process enables users to access full card functionality from their mobile devices, combining security, flexibility, and sustainability in one simple solution.
EBL Managing Director and CEO Ali Reza Iftekhar, Additional Managing Director and COO Osman Ershad Faiz, DMD and Head of Retail and SME Banking M.
