The two-day EBL 33rd Amateur Golf Championship 2025 began at Bhatiary Golf and Country Club in Chattogram on Friday, says a press release.
Brigadier General Rezaul Karim, Station Commander, Chattogram Cantonment, and VP Admin and Finance, Bhatiary Golf and Country Club, formally inaugurated the championship. Mufakkharul Islam Khasru, Director of EBL, attended the event as a special guest.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by EBL DMD and Head of ICC Mahmoodun Nabi Chowdhury, and Head of Corporate Business, Chattogram Sanjay Das, among others.
More than 150 male and female golfers are participating in the tournament across various groups.
The award ceremony is scheduled for Saturday (February 22), where Major General Towhidul Ahmed, Comdt and Papa Tiger, The East Bengal Regimental Centre, Chattogram Cantonment; EBL Director Mufakkharul Islam Khasru; and Additional Managing Director and COO Ahmed Ershad Foyez will distribute prizes among the winners.
