Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) has donated Tk 100 million (10 crore) to Bangabandhu Memorial Trust for observing the ‘Mujib Borsho’ across the country to mark the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Md Showkat Ali Chowdhury, Chairman of Eastern Bank Limited handed over the cheque Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday at Gono bhaban, said a media release.
Managing Director and CEO of the bank Ali Reza Iftekhar was also present on the occasion.
