Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) jointly with the Wholesale Club, first hypermarket in Bangladesh, have launched co-brand credit, prepaid card and a joint Wholesale Club/EBL Lounge in Dhaka.
The private bank, in association with Wholesale Club, organised a function on this occasion at Jamuna Future Park in the city.
S.M Rezaul Karim, Minister for Housing and Public works, Advocate Salma Islam MP, Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director and CEO of Eastern Bank Limited were present at the ceremony.
Nurul Islam Babul, Chairman, Md Shamim Islam, Managing Director, Monica Nazneen Islam, Sumaiya Hossain Islam (Roseline) and Zakir Hossain, Directors of Jamuna Group; Saiful Islam, Director, Wholesale Club Ltd among others also joined the programme.
The co-branded cards will offer customers a large number of benefits from both EBL and Wholesale club including cash-back facilities, discounts.
These visa cards will allow customers to use the Visa network for seamless transactions worldwide, says a media release.
The Wholesale Club/EBL Lounge is an online lounge. The lounge will allow customers to order products that are not available in Bangladesh.
There will also be an EBL service desk at the lounge, where customers will be able to avail a number of banking services.
