Eastern Bank Ltd (EBL) has launched a Mastercard Prepaid card exclusively for the member organisations of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) and their employees.
The card comes with no account opening for the members of the organisation.
A cardholder can transact up to $30,000 in a year and can enjoy 24/7 money withdrawal facility from any EBL ATM in Bangladesh as well as Mastercard branded ATMs around the globe without any charges, said a media release received today (Saturday).
Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director and CEO, Eastern Bank Limited; Almas Kabir, President, BASIS; Syed Mohammad Kamal, Country Manager, Mastercard Bangladesh as well as other senior officials from the respective organisations were present at the launching ceremony, held in Dhaka recently.
The card comes with a host of exciting and unique features, the release added.
It provides access to a network of 3000+ Mastercard partner outlets in Bangladesh offering a variety of privileges and discounts ,as well as BOGO (Buy-1-Get-1) offer at the leading hotels and resorts in Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet .
A cardholder can also shop locally and internationally using this card.
