EBL, Sun Pharmaceutical sign payroll banking agreement

Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) and Sun Pharmaceutical (EZ) Limited, a reputed global pharmaceutical company, signed a payroll banking agreement at the bank’s head office in Dhaka recently.

Under the agreement, employees of Sun Pharmaceutical will enjoy preferential banking services at EBL, including dual-currency cards and loan facilities, according to a media release. 

Khorshed Anowar, DMD and Head of Retail and SME Banking, Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) and Md Wahidur Rashid, Senior Manager, Finance and Accounts, Sun Pharmaceutical (EZ) Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. 

EBL Head of Business Syed Zulkar Nayen, Head of Transaction Banking Md. Jabedul Alam, Head of Payroll Banking Trisha Taklim were present, among others, on the occasion.
