Efforts underway to reduce reciprocal tariff to 15pc: Commerce Adviser

Commerce adviser Sk Bashir Uddin said efforts are being made to reduce the reciprocal tariff to 15 per cent from the existing 20 per cent. 

He made this statement at a press briefing following a meeting on setting export targets for the 2025-26 fiscal year on Tuesday.

The advisor said that the discussions are still going on for further reduction of US tariffs.
