Emergent meeting of Board of Directors of Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh held

An emergent meeting of the Board of Directors of Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh (SCB) for the terms 2024 and 2025 was held on Sunday, 16 March 2025, afternoon at its own office’s conference room, Dhanmondi, Dhaka, under the chairmanship of Md. Rezaul Karim.
The meeting approved the minutes of the previous meeting and account statements, according to a media release.
The meeting decided to organize Doa & Iftar Mahfil on the occasion of the Holy Ramadan and approved its budget.
Apart from this, the board decided to distribute food items among the poor and distressed people of different areas of the country on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
Senior Vice Chairman Md. Ariful Ahsan; Vice Chairman Ganesh Chandra Saha and Directors : Arzu Rahman Bhuiyan; Syed Md. Bakhtiar; Ziaul Islam; K. M. Arifuzzaman & Lokapriya Barua also attended the board meeting.
