For the first time in Bangladesh, consumers can now trade in their old laptops or desktop computers to purchase new gaming and graphics PCs.

The special campaign, titled “Power Up Your Game,” has been introduced by device exchange platform ExchangeKori Limited, with leading gaming hardware retailer Star Tech Limited joining as the new device partner, according to a media release issued on Monday.

According to the statement, this initiative will significantly simplify the process of purchasing high-performance gaming PCs for customers.

Under the campaign, users can submit details of their used devices through the ExchangeKori portal and select their desired new PC or components from Star Tech’s website.

The assessed value of the old device will be adjusted against the price of the new product.

Customers will also have the option to trade in up to two old devices for one new PC.

For final valuation, customers can visit ExchangeKori’s deal centers located at Gulshan–Tejgaon Link Road, Mirpur, or Dhanmondi.

ExchangeKori Limited’s CEO, Rasel Ahmed, stated that although customer demand for such a service had existed for a long time, the company had been unable to launch it due to insufficient product supply.

“Star Tech has stepped in with a strong lineup of new products. As a result, customers can now easily upgrade to their desired gaming and graphics PCs by trading in their old laptops or desktops. This campaign will accelerate upgrades within the gaming community while also contributing to environmental sustainability,” he added.
