FE roundtable focuses on business climate, reforms, opportunities, and challenges

The Financial Express (FE) has organised a roundtable titled ‘Business Climate: Reforms, Opportunities, and Challenges Ahead’ at a city hotel.
The event, which began at 11:00 am and will continue till 1:00 pm, brought together policymakers, business leaders, economists, and representatives from think tanks to discuss ways to improve Bangladesh’s investment environment.
The discussion aimed to highlight the importance of a strong and enabling business climate in attracting investments, enhancing competitiveness, and ensuring sustainable growth as the country moves toward graduation from the least developed country (LDC) status.
Mr Lutfey Siddiqi, special envoy on International Affairs to the chief adviser, joined the event as the chief guest.
Md Anwar Hossain, secretary at the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Mohammad Hasan Arif, vice-chairman at the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), attended the roundtable, among others.
Participants at the roundtable are exchanging their views on key reform priorities, exploring emerging opportunities, and emphasising the need for coordinated efforts between the public and private sectors to strengthen the country’s overall business ecosystem.
