The MTB-FE roundtable discussion titled ‘Banking Sector Reforms', organised by The Financial Express (FE), has begun at Six Seasons Hotel in Dhaka.
The event has brought together policymakers, economists, bankers and industry experts to discuss key challenges facing the country’s banking system and the urgent need for structural reforms to ensure transparency, stability and sustainable growth.
Dr Salehuddin Ahmed, Advisor, Ministry of Finance, will attend as the chief guest, and Dr Ahsan H. Mansur, Governor, Bangladesh Bank, will join as the special guest.
Dr Shah Md. Ahsan Habib, Professor, BIBM, will deliver the keynote speech.
The session will be chaired and moderated by Mr Shamsul Huq Zahid, Editor and CEO of The Financial Express.
