First Security Islami Bank’s Managers Conference of Chattogram North and South zone held on 28 September 2024, Saturday at Head Office, Dhaka.

Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Chairman of the bank was present as Chief Guest in the program, according to a media release. 

In the presidency of Syed Waseque Md. Ali, Managing Director of the bank, Muhammad Mustafa Khair and Abu Reza Md. Yeahia, Additional Managing Director, Md. Masudur Rahman Shah and Md. Sirajul Islam, Deputy Managing Director, Mohammed Hafizur Rahman and Mohammed Kamal Uddin, Zonal Head of Chattogram North and South zone respectively were present in the program.

Mizanur Rahman, Senior Executive Vice President anchored the conference while concerned Divisional Heads of Head Office along with other executives were present.

Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Chairman said that the new Board of Directors has given utmost importance to the recovery of the defaulted investments.

As a part of this combined efforts, the bank recovered its 400 crore defaulted investments which was unpaid for a long time.

He said that more than 4 thousand new accounts have opened just in one week that means the customers started to keep their trust in this bank. He is optimistic that the bank will reach 50 lac clients bank within the year 2024.

He instructed the officials to follow and implement the principles of Shariah at all levels of banking activities.

Besides, he urged increasing the investment in agriculture, small and medium sectors to ensure a balanced distribution of resources by following the principle of distributive justice of shariah.

He said that the clients' deposits in this bank are completely safe and the customers will soon feel proud because of the bank’s complete shariah compliance.
