As part of its initiatives for deposit mobilisation, consumer financing, and credit card services, National Bank PLC has officially launched a special campaign titled ‘Uttoron – Rise Again, Rise with Trust’.
The campaign has been specially designed to offer a wide range of services and benefits related to deposit collection, consumer loans, and credit cards, according to a press release.
The inauguration ceremony was held on Tuesday, 1 July 2025, at the bank’s head office.
Mr. Imran Ahmed, Managing Director (Current Charge) of National Bank PLC, attended the event as the chief guest.
He said, recently, National Bank has received an overwhelming response from the general public in its third subordinated bond programme, which marks a significant milestone for us. Despite various concerns and news surrounding the banking sector, this success brings us reassurance and proves that the public’s trust and confidence in our institution remain strong. Building upon that trust and continued momentum, we have launched the ‘Uttoron’ campaign – aiming to further expand customer services, accelerate financial inclusion, and make the banking sector more stable and accessible to the people.
Also present at the event were Mr. Kazi Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director (In-Charge), Mr. Md. Abdur Rahim, Deputy Managing Director (In-Charge) and Mr. Md. Meshkat-ul-Anwar Khan, Deputy Managing Director (In-Charge), Milton Roy, SVP & Head of Retail Banking and Foreign Remittance Division, along with divisional heads of various departments of the bank.
Additionally, branch and sub-branch managers, as well as regional heads from across Bangladesh, joined the ceremony virtually.
