A four-day long annual trade fair ‘Thailand Week 2018’ has been launched in the capital aiming to strengthen trade relation between Bangladesh and Thailand.
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed inaugurated the function on Monday at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel as the chief guest.
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government and Royal Thai Embassy jointly organised the 17th fair.
Ms. Panpimon Suwannapongse, ambassador of Thailand to Bangladesh, was also present at the event.
The fair will remain open for all from 11:00am to 9:00pm.
