The government would set up a Green Data Center at BTCL’s land in Hathazari of Chattogram division through the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) initiative.
The Advisers Council Committee on Economic Affairs, in its 12th meeting this year held today (Thursday), gave the approval in principle to this proposal, BSS reports.
The Posts and Telecommunications Division placed the proposal in the meeting.
Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed presided over the meeting held at the Cabinet Division Conference Room at Bangladesh Secretariat today.
